A dear friend of mine started sending me a note every day from this book Jesus Calling about a year and half ago when I was going through a rough patch.
Initially I would read it for the sake of it, but soon it became an integral part of my mornings. I would wait for the message and that would kick start my day. I am a believer, I believe in God, creator, Universe, call it by any name. I pray to Krishna but messages from Jesus made the same impact as a Geeta verse would.
These messages have been my anchor this past year. They held me when I was loosing it , they deepened my faith every time I was in doubt.
Few months ago my friends husband was admitted to hospital . I was not expecting a message that day. I was however praying that I get it somehow. I happened to be in my daughters school for a coffee morning and followed my instincts to the PTA Room which stocks some used books which are available for sale. And yes I found the book Jesus calling on the shelf waiting for me.
The day I wasn’t sure how I will receive my message is the day he decided to give the book to me.
