Fading Moon

Today early morning when the sun was rising, full moon was still there in the sky .

Saw the moon fade away as sun became stronger.

The sun & moon have such a beautiful understanding, they can barely coexist in the sky yet there is no conflict. One gives way to the other, day after day, night after night!

We always notice sun rise and sun set, moon just appears and disappears…today when I saw it fade , it was very surreal for me, I could not have captured its beauty in camera cause no pic could have done justice.

On the first day of last month of this epic year, I feel so grateful for the pause 2020 brought….this pause, sharpened our senses to observe, with this new found awareness came the beautiful experiences like the fading moon.

This is not meant to minimise the harsh reality of an incredibly difficult year. Many have lost loved ones. Many are struggling .Many feel sad,scared, frustrated and broken.But while this year seems specially hard, there are silver linings & sometimes a fading moon!
