Chasing Rainbows

By now you would know that I love rainbows. The News is that my friends all over the world are chasing them.

If any of my friends spots a rainbow, they send me a pic immediately. For instance a dear friend in Colombo sent me a pic today morning and another friend from Dubai a couple of days ago.

A friend in Delhi noticed a rainbow and called me on FaceTime.

I didn’t know that this rainbow love is so infectious. Now with pictures pouring in from around the world and seeing how it’s appearance cheers everyone, I don’t mind spreading this love to one and all.

Here is one more of my rainbow stories. A couple of years ago, we were in Bintan Indonesia for a holiday on my birthday. My husband asked me what would I like to get as a present on my birthday? I laughed and said, A Rainbow. He gave me a helpless look.

In the evening on the beach, I asked my daughter to click my pic, she said “mom move to the center so that rainbow can be directly over your head”. I thought she was joking? I didn’t even look behind me. When I went to check how the pic had come on the camera I saw the rainbow over my head. It was a totally insane moment.

I couldn’t believe for a few moments. I was so happy that God had given me on my birthday what I wished for.

Today a friend sent me pics of rare natural phenomenon — cloud iridescence or Rainbow clouds, they were seen over singapore recently. I haven’t spotted them yet but am on a look out.

To be honest am feeling a bit envious ..my friends seem to be taking a lead now…while I am doing a Google search on these colorful clouds..they have their eyes firmly on the sky.

Wish me luck…now all I want for my birthday is iridescent cloud…in advance!
